Today we did a test shoot which went really well. The shoot went on at Karolina’s house, and although we only managed to shoot a little bit of the whole video, we saw that the idea is going to work great. From doing the test shoot, we learnt that we will need to shoot this scene quite early (before it gets dark outside) otherwise the lighting in the room will be quite poor which will affect the quality of our video.
We also learnt that we have made a great
decision when it comes to our actors, as even though they have just met, their
acting skills made them very comfortable with each other, which looked much
better on the camera, rather than having actors who are really awkward
together, as they have to pretend to be in a relationship.
The actors displayed a great enthusiasm
which was also great to see as it made us even more excited for the filming. I am
very pleased with the actors we have chosen, the final piece should be amazing!
