Music video: Mood board

Using a moodboard was effective as it allowed me to gather and combine the ideas for the music video. It helped me to portray the ideas that my partner and I decided upon, the intertextual references, themes and locations that we have chosen. Also, the use of the moodboard helped me to decide on the mise-en-scene suitable for the video, for example the use of the red hills with the spikes – as they helped to create the appropriate star image.  The collaboration of all of these ideas into one made it possible to gain a general feel of the themes and ideas of the video.
